A Collective Advocacy Against Domestic Violence

;

THE INVISIBLE CHALLENGE

The Hidden Crisis

Most victims of coercive control return to their abusers even after receiving legal advice and temporary accommodation at domestic violence shelters.

Why? Because emotional wounds need more than legal solutions—they need comprehensive healing and sustained support.

The SHIP Difference: A Safe Haven Hub

SHIP will establish and maintain a Safe Haven Hub”—a comprehensive sanctuary that implements an innovative referral system designed to keep unlikely victims (high-achievers suffering in silence) from returning to their abusers.

What Makes Us Different:

Legal & Mental Health Conduit

A network of qualified lawyers and psychologists providing “gold standard” services through our integrated referral system.  Healing requires both legal empowerment and psychological support.

Financial Sustenance

Funds raised through creative projects—including our feature film “A Pebble That Floats”—directly to establish and maintain the Safe Haven Hub, ensuring long-term sustainability.

Narrative Advocacy

SHIP uses the true story of “A Pebble That Floats” to:

– Lobby for better standards in government-mandated shelters

– Advocate for the passage of Divorce Laws in the Philippines

– Raise global awareness about coercive control

Global Impact

While based in the Philippines, our model aims to serve as a blueprint for Safe Haven Hubs worldwide.
